Naas Summer Fun Camp

An inter-agency Summer Camp project for children & young people,
aged 5-18years

Job : Group Leaders – accompanying/supervising the group while
they participate in a range of activities – indoor, outdoor and
field trips. Other duties include ensuring the safety & welfare
of the children, ensuring all group members are present &
accounted for at all times. Dealing with day-to-day issues as
they arise. Working with the support of the Summer Camp
Skills : An interest in working with children and young people,
particularly those experiencing vulnerability and disadvantage
and disadvantage, friendly, energetic, fun-loving.
Location : Scoil Bride, Sallins.
Dates : Age range 5-7 yrs Week beginning 9th July.
Age range 8-10yrs Week beginning 16th July.
Age range 11-13yrs Week beginning 23rd July.

Jack & Jill, National Family Fun Day.

A day of mayhem with clowns, bouncy castles, face painters, food, fire engines and stilt walkers. A sensory room for the special Jack & Jill children, which proves very relaxing. A magical day which is enjoyed by all.

Job : Helpers – to assist with lots of odd jobs on the day.
Skills : Lots of energy and a sense of fun.

Job : Assistants to help with indoor, outdoor and field trips

Time : One week in July

Griese Youth Theatre

Film Festival in Ballitore July 19th to 22nd.

Job : Helpers/Assistants – to assist with the general activities
and workshops at the short Film Festival

Focus Ireland Spring/Summer Events
Annual Triathlon
Takes place in Golden Falls Water Ski Club, Ballymore Eustace, Co. Kildare on July 21st.

Job : Administration - to assist the events fundraising
department with preparation and registration.
Location : High Street, Dublin
Time : June 4th,5th,6th
Job : Marshals - to assist with registration of participants at
the triathlon starting point, distribution of goody bags,
assist marshal the race, assist with prize giving and site
tidy up.

The Four Peaks Challenge!
3 day event takes place in Killarney, Mayo, Down and Wicklow. Event takes place over the weekend of Friday June 8th – Sunday 10th.
Job : Marshals – to assist with registration, usher participants
from locations, supervise car parking, record times, liaise
with mountain guides, erect temporary signage etc
Locations : Killarney, Mayo, Down and Wicklow

Family Fun Day – Kildare County Childcare Committee
One day event, at Donadea Forest on the 23rd June.

Job : Workshop Assistants, to assist artists in the administration of workshops, including circus skills, dance, art and crafts etc.
To liaise with the information tent/workshops, take tickets
And to help tidy up at the end of the day.
Skills : Energy and a sense of fun.
Job :Car Park Assistants, to assist with the traffic flow in the car park.
Skills : Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
Job :Stewards, to work closely with the health and safety
personnel on the day. To guide people to activities and
