Opportunities with Samaritans, Teach Tearmainn and People in Need Trust

The Samaritans are holding information nights on: September 4th and 6th:
at 8.00 p.m.
At the Samaritan Centre, 3 McElwain Tce., Newbridge.

Teach Tearmainn
Women’s Refuge Project - aims to support Women and their children who are experiencing abuse in their relationships.

Job : To design and produce 2/3 newsletters around the work of Teach Tearmainn and domestic violence.
Skills : Experience in the layout and design of a newsletter

People In Need Trust
People in Need is a Fundraising Trust established in 1988 to raise funds for small and local charities nationwide. Using the Telethon campaign as its principle fundraiser People in Need fundraises on a county by county basis and reinvests those funds back into charities from the county from where the money was raised.

Job : Office Assistant – answer phones and log registrations on a Computer form.
Skills : Mature, friendly and convey enthusiasm to potential fundraisers. Also have basic computer knowledge.
