Paid positions with the Carers Association

Care workers required


The Carers Association wish to establish a panel of FETAC Level 5 trained Home Respite Care Workers.


Ø  Are you caring, honest, reliable and looking for a career in caring for people?

Ø  Demonstrate good communication skills including fluent in English

Ø  Be reliable, punctual, flexible and trustworthy at all times

Ø  Have a positive, enthusiastic and motivated approach to working in the healthcare sector  

The ideal Home Respite Care Worker will also be able to provide the following:-


·      A FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support, Community Care, Nursing Studies, Community & Health Services or Health Service Skills. Applicants who have almost completed one of these Major Awards and have a plan or training schedule in place to complete the remaining Modules may also be considered

·      Garda Clearance – evidence of current Garda Clearance will be an advantage

·      Applicants must hold a full driving license and have their own transport where required
