Naas Summer Fun Camp
An inter-agency summer project involving Kildare Youth Services, Naas Child & Family Project, Kildare Community Partnership and Kildare Sports Partnership.  The camp is for children & young people aged 5-18years who access the services of these agencies.

Job        :    Activities Assistants, to participate in a range of activities,
            indoor, outdoor and field trips.
Skills    :        An interest in working with children and young people,
            Particularly those experiencing vulnerability and
disadvantage.  Experience working with children and young people desirable.  Special skills/interests would be an advantage e.g. sport, arts, drama.
Location    :    Based at Scoil Bride, Sallins Road, Naas.
Other    :    Volunteers will be required to complete a Garda Vetting form
            And attend a one-day volunteer training day.
            Closing date for applications: Friday 18th May.

Family Fun DayKildare County Childcare Committee
One day event, at Donadea Forest on the 23rd June.

Job    :    Workshop Assistants, to assist artists in the administration of    workshops, including circus skills, dance, art and crafts etc.
        To liaise with the information tent/workshops, take tickets
        And to help tidy up at the end of the day.
Skills    :    Energy and a sense of fun.
Job        :    Car Park Assistants, to assist with the traffic flow in the car            park.
Skills    :    Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
Job        :    Stewards, to work closely with the health and safety
            personnel on the day.  To guide people to activities and

Age Action Ireland

Job        :    IT Trainers for older people – groups of 1/5 over 8
            informal sessions.
Skills    :        Good computer skills, enthusiasm, a commitment to
            sharing skills and open, friendly and patient approach is

Jack & Jill, National Family Fun Day.

A day of mayhem with clowns, bouncy castles, face painters, food, fire engines and stilt walkers.  A sensory room for the special Jack & Jill children, which proves very relaxing.  A magical day which is enjoyed by all.

Job        :    Helpers – to assist with lots of odd jobs on the day.
Skills    :        Lots of energy and a sense of fun.

Athy CDP Summer Project

Job        :    Assistants to help with indoor, outdoor and field trips
